This takes the form of an app you can download for your PC that allows you to transfer files and information to and from your Galaxy by connecting it via the USB lead. Kies allows you to effortlessly sync your contacts, calendar, content and much more. If you previous smartphone wasn’t a Galaxy then there
is also a way to transfer your contacts, photos, calendars, text messages and more thanks to the Samsung Smart Switch Mobile app. Free to download from Samsung apps, this service not only allows you to transfer content from other Galaxy devices, it also allows you to transfer data from other Androidbased devices and Apple’s iCloud service too. When you launch the app you will be prompted to pick a category to transfer information from and will then be invited to log in so that a link can be established with the respective cloud-based back-up service. It’s quick and very easy to use.
