How To Send directions from your PC to your phone

A brilliant new Google Maps feature lets you send directions from your PC to your Android phone or tablet. In fact. the feature is so new that it still hasn‘t been fully rolled out beyond the US. But by adapting the URL. UK users can try it too. First. make sure you have the latest version of the Google app 
(bit.ly/GoogleApp) installed on your device. Open the app. tap the menu button (three horizontal lines) and select Settings. then ‘Now cards‘. Make sure ‘Show cards' and ‘Show notifications for card updates' are both switched on. Next go to bit.ly/1FQYvdn, sign in with your Google account and make sure ‘Your searches and browsing activity' is switched on.

Now go to google.co.uk. type send directions into the search box and press Enter. At the end of the URL in the address bar. type &gl=us and press Enter again. Now you should see a Google map at the top of the search results. Type an address or postcode in the ‘Where do you want to go?’ box and press Enter. Make sure the correct device is selected in the top right. then click 'Send directions to my phone’.
