The Skype Android app (bit.ly/1KWtHGf) now lets you set custom ringtones for specific contacts. Open the free app and log into your account. Now tap the (middle) Contacts tab at the top to see a list of all your Skype contacts and navigate to the one you want to set a ringtone for. Next, tap the three dots at the top right followed by ‘Ringtone options’, then tap ‘Set a custom ringtone’. Tap one of the ringtone options (see screenshot below left) to listen to it, then tap OK to set it as a ringtone for that contact.
