we recommended the Dropbox for Gmail add-on (bit.ly/Gmail), which lets you send files without leaving the Compose window. The extension has now been updated to make it even easier to share large files via Gmail, even if the recipient doesn’t use Dropbox. Just click the Dropbox icon at the bottom of the message to select a single file, multiple files or even a whole folder (click to the right of the folder’s name to attach rather than open it), then click the Insert Link(s) button. Additionally, when you receive a file via Gmail, you can click the ‘Save to Dropbox’ icon to save it directly to your account. It’s a useful way to get around Gmail’s 25MB limit for email attachments, other than using Google Drive to share the files.
