How To Open MicrosoftOffice document in Chorme
To open Microsoft Office files, you’d typically need to install additional software. With this extension, clicking a 1997-2013 Office file on the web will open it directly in Chrome identical to Chrome’s PDF Viewer.
Google recently released Chrome Office Viewer (http://bit.ly/1166Z7s), which lets you view Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents in Chrome, without needing any Microsoft programs. Once you’ve installed the add-on, just drag and drop a document to the browser window. You can resize the file to fit the page, zoom in and out, and save or print it.
Formats supported:
.doc
.docx
.xls
.xlsx
.ppt
