If you want to install Chrome extensions in Opera, try Download Chrome Extension (bit.ly/1cFeqQj). Once installed, just click ‘Add to Opera’ when you find an extension you want. After a while, you’ll get a message at the top of the browser window telling you to go to the Opera extensions manager to enable it. When you do this, click Install twice and you’ll know it’s worked when the extensions page in the Chrome Web Store says ‘Added to Opera’. I don’t know why, but I’ve noticed Download Chrome Extension occasionally disables itself, so if you want to download an extension from the Chrome Web Store, it’s worth checking in Opera’s Extensions Manager that it’s Enabled. If it isn’t, just click Reload to get it running again.
