How To Erase Unwanted Firfox History

If you have a recent version of Firefox, you can add a useful privacy button to the toolbar to cover your tracks while browsing. It's handy for when you click links on websites and end up somewhere you would rather not be. A quick click of the privacy button and you can erase it from your browsing history.

Go to the menu button in Firefox and click Customise at the bottom. On the left is 'Additional Tools and Features’. Among the items is a button called Forget. Click and drag it to the toolbar at the right side of the address box and drop it. Exit Customise mode and click the button to see the menu. You can erase the last five minutes, two hours or 24 hours.
