Fix iTunes keeps crashing in Window 8

There’s a bug in Windows 8 and 8.1 which can cause iTunes 11 to crash when you try to access iTunes Store, download content, or carry out any number of activities that involve Apple servers.
This is because Windows 8 reads certain iTunes processes from a different folder to other Windows versions. To fix this, navigate to
                  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application
Support in Windows Explorer, find the file named QTWinMovie.dll, right-click it, then click Copy. Next, navigate to
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
 right-click any empty space, then click Paste.

    I don't have QTWinMovie.dll on my computer at all, and have problems finding where to find it and finding alternative ways to fix the issue.
